Maritime UK Solent Network Meeting at Seawork

You are invited to join Maritime UK Solent's June Network meeting, which will be held at Seawork commercial marine and workboat exhibition on 13 June 2023.

Speakers include:

- Jamie Blanchard from City College Southampton and John Ainsworth from Marine Energy Systems, who will be talking about their recent collaboration which has resulted in the installation of a hybrid simulator in the Marine Skills Centre in Southampton. This is a fabulous example of industry and education working together. 

- A representative from Red Penguin Cable Engineering and Marine Consulting Services, who will talk about their business, history and future plans and share what it is like to work in this industry and be based in the Solent. Red Penguin’s founder and CEO, Chris Sturgeon won the coveted Maritime Hero Award at the Maritime UK Solent Awards 2022.
